Boca Ciega Millennium Park is located in Seminole, Florida, in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. The park is 182 beautiful acres and contains several distinct natural communities: pine flatwoods, coastal oak hammock, mangrove swamp, salt marsh, bay head and wetlands.

It was officially completed in March 2001, but it continues to evolve.

Park entrance

Visitors should note that drought-resistant native Florida plants are extensively used for landscaping in the park. The main entrance is an excellent example--visually effective, and well adapted to Florida weather too.
